Abstract

Artificial intelligence has taken over thousands of processes, one of which is education, where there are some barriers and setbacks to its application in the educational field. In some cases, there is resistance on the part of teachers; in others, connectivity has become a weakness; and in other situations, electronic devices are not affordable for the general population. That is why this theoretical approach has emerged, focused on the general objective, which is to reflect on artificial intelligence in educational processes as a threat or a challenge for current teachers in primary education. The theoretical approach methodology is framed within qualitative research complemented by an interpretive paradigm centered on a systematic review of documents, which gave rise to a compendium of information focused on the object of study being presented. This provides valuable input for teachers to function in a world where technology is increasingly overtaking teachers in the race to deliver knowledge safely, which leads us to pause and focus on strategies and alternatives to make teaching an attractive process for students, achieving quality knowledge in a world permeated by technology.
