FACILISMO ACADÉMICO Y USO DE REDES SOCIALES: REVISIÓN BIBLIOGRÁFICA SOBRE SU RELACIÓN CON LA EVITACIÓN DEL ESFUERZO COGNITIVO EN EL APRENDIZAJE DE CONTENIDOS ABSTRACTOS DE QUÍMICA

La revisión de la literatura que se ha llevado a cabo ha tenido por objeto investigar la relación entre el facilismo académico, el uso de las redes sociales y la evitación del esfuerzo cognitivo en el aprendizaje de la química abstracta a partir de 24 fuentes. Para ello, se ha dado forma a un diseño documental cualitativo que articula tres líneas de evidencia: motivación y autorregulación del esfuerzo, uso de las redes sociales y cognición, y didáctica de la química. Para el análisis se ha dado cuenta de la Teoría de la Carga Cognitiva, el modelo de Monitoreo y Regulación del Esfuerzo y el triplete de la química. Los resultados han puesto de manifiesto que la dificultad que se puede percibir en la química depende no solo de la complejidad conceptual que encierra la materia, sino también de la disposición que los estudiantes tengan para mantener el esfuerzo y de los hábitos digitales que pueden fragmentar la atención. También la evidencia revisada pone de relieve las diferencias entre el uso recreativo o problemático de los dispositivos y el uso académico y socialmente constructivo, por lo que no es posible atribuir un mismo efecto al uso de las redes sociales. La principal brecha se localiza en la aplicación conjunta de estas tres líneas al contexto educativo de América Latina en general y, en concreto, al rural. Se concluye que fortalecer la regulación del esfuerzo, reducir la carga cognitiva extraña y apoyar el paso gradual entre las distintas representaciones químicas son acciones complementarias para apoyar y promover un aprendizaje más profundo.
