Letras magazine ensures that editors, reviewers, and authors rigorously follow international ethical standards during the process of reviewing and publishing manuscripts. In addition, authors are required to send a letter to request that the text be submitted to arbitration and study the possibility of including it in the journal. It is understood that the author is subject to these editorial standards. In addition, the recommendations of the Code of Conduct and Good Practices defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for editors of scientific journals are followed.

  • That if my research is accepted I contract obligations to act as a future Arbitrator of Letters, in articles in my area of ​​competence.
  • That I know the editorial process of Letras and I accept both the double-blind peer review and the possible corrections of the article that must be made after promptly communicating to me the disagreement with certain pertinent aspects of my article.
  • That I know and accept the disclaimer of liability
  • That I know and accept the code of ethics assumed by the magazine
  • I authorize that, once the article is approved for publication, Letras retains the copyright and uses all of the content for dissemination through any printed or electronic media, under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial license. ShareAlike 4.0 International.
  • That I recognize that Letras is a completely free open access magazine, both for readers and authors.

ANTI-PLAGGERY POLICY

For the benefit of intellectual production and the rights of authors over their works. The editorial team and referees in charge of evaluation at Letras magazine ensure that each article goes through a rigorous double-blind refereeing process. In which the main attention is paid to the detection of plagiarism, using the expertise of the evaluators and the alternatives of online programs that can analyze and detect total or partial similarities between different works (Plag; Plagiarisma.net; Copyleaks). Once any irregularity is detected, the referees are obliged to inform the editorial team and the article is immediately excluded. POLICY ON CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

Letras has detection, monitoring and monitoring mechanisms to resolve conflicts of interest that may arise in the different instances of publication: between the editors and managers of the magazine; between these and the authors; between the authors and the evaluators; between its contents and its readers.
