Abstract

Technological advances and digital tools require analysis to understand them, learn from them, and know how to apply them. Artificial intelligence is one such tool, a technological possibility that is constantly shifting between fields of knowledge, development possibilities, and usefulness in the world. The development of this tool in such a short time and its impact on different organizations, institutions, and lives is impressive. Every time a technological development that influences the lives of so many people arrives, its impact generates fears and uncertainties that in some cases lead to its demonization. However, the challenge for humanity is to embark on a path of recognition and learning that allows us to use tools such as AI and take advantage of them to advance in every area of knowledge, as well as to continue evolving so that humans can go further and further and improve their living conditions. Schools and the educational community see artificial intelligence as having the potential to develop knowledge in multiple ways, taking students into new technological worlds, with materials, formats, guides, schedules, and ways of working individually, in groups, locally, nationally, and internationally. There are no limits, as long as schools enable learning from the tool and make significant changes to their structure in order to adapt it. This benefits students, families, and society, which demands generations that are better prepared for the technological and developmental challenges of the world.
