This study explores the implementation of an institutional educational website as an innovative strategy to strengthen the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in teaching practices. The research began with a diagnostic assessment at Institución Educativa Sor Matilde Sastoque, which revealed a low integration of technological tools in teaching. Despite having access to digital resources, 66% of teachers did not incorporate ICT into their classes, limiting pedagogical innovation and interactive student learning.
In response to this issue, an educational website was designed and implemented with functionalities aimed at facilitating the planning, execution, and evaluation of lessons through digital tools. The methodology applied was descriptive with a mixed approach, using surveys, interviews, and direct observation with a sample of 38 teachers. The effectiveness of the website in improving teachers' technological competencies and its impact on teaching practices was evaluated. The results showed a significant increase in the adoption of ICT, with 80% of teachers using the platform to structure their lessons and share educational resources. A more positive attitude towards the use of digital tools and increased collaborative interaction among teachers was also observed. However, challenges related to ongoing training and technological adaptation were identified. It is concluded that the implementation of digital platforms in educational environments fosters teacher autonomy, improves didactic planning, and strengthens meaningful learning. It is recommended to continue with training and professional development programs to consolidate the effective use of ICT in teaching.
