Profesora egresada del Instituto Pedagógico de Caracas, con postgrado en Literatura Latinoamericana en la misma universidad (UPEL). Docente universitaria (jubilada) de la Cátedra de Instrumentación Didáctica del Área de Lengua y Literatura del Departamento de Prácticas Docentes del IPC. Profesora contratada de la UCAB para la cátedra de Literatura infantil y juvenil, Producción y comprensión de textos de la escuela de Educación, y Letras, respectivamente.
