Abstract

This essay analyzes, from a pedagogical and methodological perspective, the use of the technological tool Micro:Bit and the graphical programming environment MakeCode as teaching tools to transform the educational process into creative, interactive experiences and autonomous production for the student. From the constructivist approaches of Jean Piaget to the constructionist ideas of Seymour Papert, a didactic proposal is structured based on the methodology of Project-Based Learning (PBL), as scenarios and learning environments conducive to the student assuming an active role as a creative factor and the teacher assuming a mediating and facilitating role for the meaningful construction of learning by implementing the manipulation of concrete materials that allows better assimilation of abstract concepts. Interpretive paradigm, the phenomenological method, with a descriptive analysis of the experiences of some qualitative research carried out in Colombia and abroad on the impact of training in educational robotics on student motivation with respect to learning processes, as well as in the development of logical thinking and collaborative work, identifying the findings found in each of them and extrapolating these, towards the consolidation of a didactic proposal that combines theory and practice and responds to the current challenges posed to the educational process, identifying its real benefits to contribute to the formulation and improvement of school environments that could be structured based on this proposal.
