Nowadays, the relationship between family and school is experiencing a silent yet deep fracture. This disconnection, far from being a mere communicative gap, represents a structural crisis that compromises the affective, ethical, and educational development of children. This essay explores the causes and consequences of this divide, examining historical, social, and technological factors that have eroded the cohesion between the two main agents of child formation. From a critical and humanized perspective, the analysis addresses how contemporary family dynamics, school bureaucratization, and the virtualization of bonds negatively affect the construction of the educational subject. The text incorporates lived experiences observed in Colombian school contexts, along with pedagogical reflections supported by theoretical and normative frameworks. The essay concludes with a proposal to rebuild the relational fabric between school and family, aimed at strengthening the sense of community, shared responsibility, and mutual care.
