Abstract

Emotional education in the basic primary education stage has been established as one of the fundamental pillars to achieve the learning goals and expectations that are reflected in the academic performance of students. This education encompasses categories such as emotional self-control and self-regulation as a component that impacts concentration and performance of academic tasks, motivation and self-motivation as an influence on the learning process, conflict resolution as an emotional ability to handle situations that arise within the classroom and interpersonal relationships related to the impact of socio-emotional skills on collaboration and work in the classroom. team. The objective is to carry out an analysis of the influence of emotional education on the academic performance of primary school students, to determine how the development of emotional skills impacts their school performance and general well-being; From this perspective, the exposition of a scientific essay is given from an inductive analysis. It is concluded that there is a direct relationship between emotional education and academic performance, since children who in the primary education stage have well-established socio-emotional skills tend to be more focused on their tasks and attend to their homework without emotional distractions with academic reports with positive and significant results.
