Abstract

Basic education in Colombia faces several problems, among which a significant place is occupied by the lack of interest, desire or commitment on the part of the students to attend the educational institution daily, among others; it is opportune to take into account that academic success is one of the causal relationships that produce the attached and simultaneous results, proper to the process of education. Considering that success corresponds to an important social concept, given the interest offered by school problems, it is necessary to define with certain precision what it consists of, according to official regulations. Reason that leads to the purpose of reflecting on the emotional seeds as a root of success in repeating students in Colombian basic education. The methodology is framed in the documentary analysis, which brings as a product the present scientific essay that responds to a detailed review of each of the elements that respond to the essential elements for repeating students to achieve success; undoubtedly it must be kept in mind that some lines of action that aim to counteract repetition were achieved as results; It is opportune to point out that actions are taken in function of the quality of education; reason that leads to conclude that from the emotionality it is possible to establish some theoretical guidelines that go in function of what emotions are and their relation with the emotions that are considered of great value for the development and progress of the communities and educational institutions in relation to improving the problem situation that has been shown.
