EMPOWERING THE FUTURE: EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT IN EDUCATION AND ITS IMPACT ON MODERN EDUCATION

Abstract

The main objective of this article is to highlight the attributes and fundamental importance that educational leaders play within an educational institution in driving educational transformation, achieving established academic objectives, and ensuring quality in the learning process. Through this analysis, we seek to project and strengthen the evolution of their work in the future, recognizing that their role goes beyond simple administrative management and becomes a key driver for the comprehensive development of the educational community. This research is framed within a descriptive-qualitative approach, based on a review of specialized literature related to the topic. It also includes a critical interpretation by the author, which allows for a deeper understanding of the impact that educational leaders have on institutional dynamics and academic outcomes.

Among the most relevant findings, it is emphasized that the accompaniment and advisory role carried out by the leaders in all areas and activities of the institution is essential for achieving the proposed goals. This function not only involves supervision but also horizontal leadership that fosters assertive and collaborative communication among all members of the educational community. When this type of leadership is effectively implemented, it not only brings recognition and better institutional positioning but also promotes continuous innovation within the educational process. Finally, it is concluded that the role of the educational leader is crucial for the overall success of the educational organization. Their positive influence transcends the institutional scope and directly impacts the community of influence, contributing to the development of more relevant skills adapted to the challenges of an increasingly competitive world.
