Abstract

The educational inclusion approach is referenced as one of the foundations that support the development of actions aimed at promoting the integration of social minorities into the school environment. It is important to consider the presence of different challenges, such as teacher training, as well as pedagogical practices, which indicate a complex process in the management of this educational approach. Therefore, this argumentative essay aims to understand the implicit challenges in the inclusion approach in Colombian education. To achieve this, a documentary review of different sources was developed, which corresponds to a study based on the interpretative paradigm, using a qualitative approach, and a hermeneutic method was applied as the technique for collecting documentary information, that is, the material described throughout this document, thus involving reading Critique accompanied by underlining to determine the necessary quotes for the research in which different referential elements were assumed that address the challenges posed based on the approach of inclusion. Conclusions; the approach of educational inclusion in Colombia is developed within institutional environments, however, there is still a need for greater attention to this particular aspect in order to achieve the proper development of the training processes framed within this approach.
