INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN FOR A RESPONSIBLE SEXUALITY OF UNIVERSITY YOUNG PEOPLE

Abstract

Based on diagnosis derived from results of research work focused on first semester undergraduate students at UNEFA- Caracas, a proposal for an instructional design for the university student’s sexual guidance is presented. Such proposal is supported on a constructivist perspective as well as on virtual environments for teaching on the basis of principles of Information and  Communications Technologies as an empowering and facilitating tool which has positive impacts on the teaching-learning process. The phases of context analysis, course design, and its development were fulfilled. These phases corresponded to the three first stages of the instructional design. The aim of this work is the insertion of sexual education in the university sphere in order
to provide students with learning along with timely and responsible information, sound decision making, and the possibility of engaging in sexual relationships with healthy attitudes.
