Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to analyze the implications of parental support in early education, since this is the elementary basis for achieving the comprehensive development of boys and girls, in which the provision of primary needs must be overcome and converted into a committed, active and constant participation from within the family who is committed to the school through collaboration to be a timely part in the lives of children, this involvement provides far-reaching and significant benefits, ranging from the emotional area in which support fosters self-esteem and social skills where children are taught to recognize and manage emotions, laying the foundations for well-being, likewise, the presence of parents in support of the teaching and learning processes directly impacts school performance, understanding that it is not about doing homework for children but about showing genuine usefulness in learning in which the child feels motivated and committed to their academic training. From another perspective, parental support is equivalent to a protective factor against risk, since when children feel appreciated and supported, they are less at risk of engaging in inappropriate behaviors due to the lack of communication and trust in their home. Consequently, family support from early childhood education not only pays tribute to the comprehensive development of a child but also to society in all its contexts. This is why schools and families must work collaboratively for the sake of social well-being.
